May 2 I was at the Mc P's Irish Pub for lunch and to celebrate the death
of Osama bin Laden. I am so anxious to visit Southern California -- and when I do -- McP's Pub
will definitely be one of my stops! Let's raise a glass to the Great Navy Seals! Look forward to visiting and buying any Seals their favorite drinks. They
are very highly respected here in Israel and we Love them too! Much Respect, Love and
Honor to all. See you this Summer. Thank You for a job - always well done! As a brother of a current Navy Seal, I would like to Thank All of the Navy
Seals past, present and future for there service and sacrifice. You guys are the REAL
unsung Heroes. Words can't describe how I feel about what you go through to be a Navy
Seal. We love McP's! We were married in June of 2009 on Coronado Island and we
had all our guest meet at McP's after for some food and drinks. This week we have been all
wearing our McP's sweatshirts and tees we bought when we were out there! Proud of
the SEALS and proud to be American. Loved the SEALS partying there! You should honor them by naming a
drink...the OSAMA...a double shot with a splash of water!!! Just heard you on the Larry Elder show. Will plan on visiting the next
time i'm in town. Hooyah to SEAL Team Six................Great Job men!!!!!!!!!! Proud to be American; proud to be Navy; proud to be Irish. Every two years I visit the waet coast for my hollidays.. next year I come
to the pub and will buy the Seals beer for the whole evening.. Thank them for
killing Osama.. in the Dutch newspaper was an article that this is their favorite bar. Relocated to IN last July...so miss Coronado and of course, McP's!
Love your acknowledgement for Seal Team 6! My niece & nephew's father, Navy Seal Daniel Healy's photo hangs in
your bar. Thank you! My nephew turns 21 May 7th. We will be there for a drink in honor of
his father! I always enjoy visitng the great pub when in town. We usually stay at the
Bayview Inn and many years ago going there with Mike Rost and Judy Rost. He was a regular
here till he died. I and my wife Marie have great memories of the people and the
place. I was in the Navy so I can relate to the crowd. After being very frequent diners over the past 28years, we had to leave
Coronado and the great food, drinks, and people at McP's! We are coming back this week,
and will DEFINITELY make at least one trip to McP's!!!! I love this PUB!!! Had a pleasant visit on Dec. 22. Second time I've been to your pub in
Coronado My husband and I are looking forward to spending his birthday at McP's on the
29th. See you then! Hello Shipmates, I frequented your fine pub back in '89 to '91 and I had
a rollicking great time at the place. I was saddened to hear of Scotty's passing in April
2007 and he will be much missed. Best regards to Greg, Tracy, and all the gang. I used to be a daily patron of the infamous McP's several years ago. I miss the
place! SO sorry to hear of Scotty's passing. He was a special guy with
the most incredible wit and wisdom. The ritual was the same ever day: I'd come into the
place and get "Hey Mike!". I'd hit the head and when I returned, he'd have drawn
a perfect pint of Guinness and have it placed in my usual spot. Wonder if my mug is
still hanging from the ceiling over the bar... Great bar, had my brothers wedding reception there. thanks for the good time Mc P's rules. Its proprietor and host, Greg (The Hawk) Mc Partlin, was
and still is a friend whose company I miss and friendship I cherish. Plus he has really
cool T Shirts........ I was at Mare Island, CA., Combat Systems Technical Schools Command, I knew the
SBU 11 GUYS, SBU-11 Scott, Scottie, it has been 20 years, are any of you
still out there??? Scott with the BLACK Truck and Big tires Chesty's??? Greg it was so good to see you and Tracy after all these years. Wow what
memories! Thanks for lunch and drinks. Bruce Can't wait for St. Patty's day!! Love McP's and Coronado Island We discovered McP's on a recent vacation to San Diego and knew the second we
entered the bar it was the perfect place. Great atmosphere! However, nothing could top the
amazing people we met! Kendall you are an awesome and thank you for the BEST Bloody Marys
we have ever had! Hopefully we'll be back one day soon but until then...Please tell
everyone at McP's the two crazy girls from Dallas, Texas said hello and thank you all for
an amazing time! Sincerely, Angela and Virginia Holly Murten and I moved away from Coronado in 1991, but between our arrival in
late 1982 and our departure, Scotty was a regular feature our lives -- mine at McP's,
Holly's at the library. She still tells the story of the time she came to open the
library and found Scotty waiting impatiently at the entrance. "Where's me
book?" he challenges. "I need me book." We missed him for a
long time, and now it looks like we'll always have to miss him, since now we can't show up
and have a beer with him. Great painting of him, Greg! We're in DC this
year, here from Berlin and on our way to Buenos Aires at the end of the year, so hopefully
we can fit a Coronado trip in there. See you. I REMEMBER THE COLD MORNINGS IN THE SURF, I REMEMBER THE NIGHTS AT Mc P'S.
HANGOVERS FROM Mc P'S ARE THE REASON WHY YESTERDAY WAS THE EASIEST DAY. MUCH
LOVE.....HOOOORAY. Greetings Form Chicago. Summer approaching here and I am remembering the great
time I recently had in Coronado. Learning new bar dice games with Gregg on my recent trip
was the highlight without question. An Irish American Patriot with no doubt. A place for
you at the table anytime. Sean Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!! Cheers to my Tom! Wishing we were there at the bar
sharing fish and chips, a stout ale and making more memories! Oh, we will be back
McP's - Can't wait! Cheers! Sam On this St. Patrick's day I can't help but dream of spending it at MCP's with
everyone. My best to Greg and the gang.I will raise a glass to you all and in memory of
Fred. I will be back to the best Irish pub West of the Atlantic soon! An old TWA
friend Hot weather, cold beer and great food! Gregg,..you really have an A-1 place. Hi
Drew, Gina, Teddy, my new guide(little bro). Sorry I missed Ray, Rick. I just wanted to drop a quick line and say what a great Pub you have. I
was out there for a convention at the Hotel Del, but sat in the Pub pretty much every
day. The Pub has character and history and I really enjoyed
myself. I hope to make it out that way again some day, and you bet I'll stop in and
raise a glass. Mark My first visit will be St Patty's Day!!! I can not wait to visit again, I spent alot of time at Mc P's while I lived in
Cali. Thank you! from Gloria, Colleen, Andy and myself for making 4 strangers feel so
welcome with great food and even better company! Ted, your stories were great! and Greg
thank you for your book and conversation. Indeed, God Bless our Troops, past, present and
future. Sincerely, exNavy Brat(not sure about the ex brat part : ) Patricia (Trish
Slater) Visited the bar in December on my trip to Coronado. I knew a Murphy would fit
right in, and I did. I come from a big NAVY family, all pilots. I enjoyed talking with all
the guys. Also watching the Chargers rip it up. Good Luck in the Future and I hope to get
back to see you soon. Hoo Rah. THANKS FOR MAKING MY BIRTHDAY VACATION THE BEST!! WE LOVE YALL!
T& T & T TRIPLE DYNAMITE FROM TEXAS The best place to go and enjoy some food. I try to get in everytime I am in
Cali. My best friend Beef cannot live without the Mulligan Stew in the bread bowl. Me
either, the best. Hats off to you and all who served. I only wish my Dad was still alive
so we could go have some stew and beer. I know he would have loved it. Mr.Mc Partlin, Mr. Mc Partlin, glad to see the pub is still going strong. After
returning from cruise on the USS Ranger CV-61 in Oct 1982 I found my newest favorite
hangout and nearly 25 years later...whenever my travels take me to San Diego; your place
is still my favorite hangout. Now my entire family insists on a meal in your fine
Pub whenever we are in town. Thanks so much for everything you do for our military.
God Bless America. I lived in San Diego ( Imperial Beach) to be exact.. from 1984-1988, and have
kept utmost wonderful memories of my time, my life over there! My ex husband was in Seal
Team 3 in Coronado! I enjoyed those long walks at the beach by the Amphibian base,
Coronado Shores... Remember too well those fun evenings at McP's Pub in Coronado among the
guys as well as that Mexican Village restaurant that was located at the end of Orange
Street! WOW, wild days, fun days! I plan on coming back some day... !! Nadine
;-) Greg; Had a fab time whilst in Coronado on our honeymoon. Made to feel most welcome
by Scotty and his staff and all the regulars who are too numerous to mention but know who
they are. Best boozer in California bar none! And the Fish and Chips weren't bad
either...! Looking forward to visiting your establishment. My brother in law who is
now with the Teams on the East Coast, used to frequent McP's often, and would tell me some
crazy stories, so being the fun luvin' girl that I am, I cannot wait to see for myself!

into the fish 'n' chips, too. Delicious! More importantly, the United Warrior
Survivor Foundation event was absolutely incredible. I was able to offer condolences
to some of the widows, talk with a few SEALs, and bought drinks for a couple of the
Marines. It was one of those days you didn't want to end. Thanks to McP's for
sponsoring such a worthy cause, and thanks for the great food. See ya soon. My friend Donna and I were in Coronado the first week of June
and visited Mc'Ps every night.Had a great time! Your waitress Tony, was the nicest and
most efficent lady I have ever met. Keep up the good work. I just discovered McP's while reading "One Perfect Op :
Navy SEAL Special Warfare Teams" by Dennis Chalker, and now I can't wait to drive
down and grab a BLT and cold beer! The only reason any of us are able to lead the
lives we do is because of the bravery and sacrifice of our sailors, soldiers, airmen and
Marines. It's nice to know there is a place close to home built upon these undeniable
truths. TO THE BEST OF THE BEST NAVY SEALS AND THOSE THAT HAVE

every month; your place put a smile on our faces! Thanks so much! Thank you for providing the perfect place for a wedding on
Thursday, January 20th. Father of the bride was my husband's college roommate and best man

in the marines. I bought a shirt and every time I wear it here in FL, I get at least 2 or
3 people who will stop me and say how great your Pub is. Can't wait till the next time I
am in the area. Thanks and keep up the great work. No doubt McP's is the best pub in the SD area. Tonight I was
looking through some pics from Afghanistan; and damned if there isn't a McP's bumper
sticker on the fridge in the Tali Bar, the best Pub in Afghanistan. The only place you
could get a beer within an hours drive from our compound, and I can't say where it is, but
